Choosing the right gift for a friend or loved one can be a tricky task. Here at English Roses we have gathered together some great ideas for gifts for animal lovers. Our range includes wild flower seeds, animal-themed roses such as Eye of The Tiger or even the amazing bee revival kits. If you’re looking for a thoughtful gift or something to supplement a rose gift then have a browse of our range.
Wild Flower Gifts For Animal Lovers
In the last 100 years our wild flower meadows have practically vanished. These were once a vital source of food for insects including bees, butterflies and ladybirds. By devoting a part of your garden to wild flowers you will help sustain these important pollinators. The bonus is that your garden will benefit from a carpet of colour and all that buzzing insect life.
Our wild flower seeds come in the form of ‘seedballs’ which are so easy to plant. Simply prepare the soil (wild flowers don’t like competition especially from grass) and scatter the balls. They naturally disintegrate and take root – just add water when required.
Choose from tins, bags or boxes of seedballs specifically targeted at bees, beetles or butterflies. They make fantastic add-ons to include with your rose gift.
We also offer a wild flower growing kit that has all you need to grow a beautiful basket of wild flowers. Simply choose your seed collection based on what insects you are looking to attract and we do the rest. You’ll receive a willow basket with organic peat-free compost blocks and a sachet of slow-release plant feed.
Rose Gifts For Animal Lovers
We have several gorgeous roses in our collection that are named after animals. They include Eye of The Tiger Rose and Queen Bee Rose as well as the award winning Night Owl Rose. These lovely roses come potted up and ready to plant out.
Bee Revival Gifts For Animal Lovers
These stylish kits are just the thing for when you come across an exhausted bee while out on a walk. The little bottles of sugar syrup come in rose gold or bamboo and simply clip onto your keys. Featured on Dragon’s Den, they provide a handy energy boost for bees and look great too! A kit makes a lovely gift on its own or a wonderful ‘extra’ with a potted rose.

Bought for a friend who lost her mum. Delivery was fast (next day) Very efficient (exact time ) and delivered in perfect condition.
She was thrilled when she realised it had buds on .......a fitting tribute to her beautiful mum . Thank you 💛
Fantastic memorial rose, very healthy plant with a large pot, can't wait to see it bloom, perfect to remember various loved close friends & family due to the variety of colours. Recipient loved the gift. Easy to order (in advance), arrived on the day and was well packed. Very reliable.
Lovely rose, arrived on time, excellent packaging. The root ball was well developed, confirming a pot grown plant, which compared very favourably with another rose from another supplier which was a bare root put in compost. Will use English Roses again.
Bought as a gift for a colleague who sadly lost her mother-in-law recently. She said it was beautiful so I cant ask any more than that. Great website to use and the rose was delivered on the date I requested.
Very well packaged rose, probably the best I have ever seen, because of this the Rose arrived in excellent condition. It's very healthy and been very well cared for flower already in bloom and more buds waiting to open.
She smells and looks gorgeous, even though still small and with a handful of flowers I could smell her from several feet away. I'm looking forward to seeing her grow and provide years of enjoyment.
I'll definitely order from English Roses again without hesitation.
This was a gift for my closest friend who has just lost her wonderful mum.
She does so much for other people and I wanted to make her feel loved in return.
The rose arrived in beautiful condition. I would use your company again.
The Rose I ordered and received was just beautiful, I am so delighted with it, it’s in perfect condition, it’s the exact rose I ordered, it was very quick delivery, good value for money, I will certainly order from English Roses again.
Rose arrived in perfect condition. Well packaged to prevent any damage. I opted to have the rose pre planted and selected a lovely wicker basket. Rose has yet to flower but looks really healthy and I can’t wait to see it flower.
Would definitely buy from English Roses again.
I bought two for my sons who have just lost their grandma. The plants are well looked after and ready to plant. The packing wax good and delivery came in the correct time. An excellent product and service
Very speedy delivery, very well packaged and my rose was perfectly safe inside. Good and easy to follow instructions. I am potting it tonight. We bought this as a little memorial, to the baby I miscarried a week ago. Forget Me Nots are the official baby loss flower, however I wanted something more permanent (and is simar colour). I hope it will grow nicely, and be happy in its pot so it can be moved house with us always. Thank you for a professional and quality, and easy experience.
This is the third rose since May that I have bought from English Roses, they have all been absolutely stunning. The packaging is super secure, the roses have all had an abundance of buds on them and continue to grow more. The scent from this one is beautiful and had strong roots on when I transferred it. I would highly recommend these roses, worth the money.
This is my first rose from this company. I can only say what a first class experience! From ordering to delivery very speedy, beautifully wrapped with detailed instructions on planting. The rose looks healthy and I can't wait for my first blooms! I will certainly be buying again and very soon. Thank you English Roses 🌹
My beautiful rose ‘Compassion’ arrived safely in a large sturdy cardboard box, inside the most beautiful healthy looking rose full of buds ! Can’t wait to enjoy it this summer
I first saw this rose in New Zeland and wanted one for my garden. It arrived in perfect condition on the day I requested and is just as lovely as I remembered.
My mum passed away in June & an ex work colleague gave me some money so I bought this beautiful rose in memory of her along with the willow basket. It arrived very well packaged & in excellent condition.
English Roses are a wonderful company. Their roses are of excellent quality & a very reasonable price.
I’m sure mum would love her rose
This rose was bought for my mum as a special gift to be delivered on the date of the first wedding anniversary, following my dad passing. The rose was beautiful, well packaged and arrived on the requested date. The colour was just right as was the gift bag, reflecting the colours of their wedding, 54 years previous. It was the perfect gift.
The roses arrived on time, perfectly packaged and in excellent condition.
I purchased 2 precious ruby roses and 2 alba maxima roses. The ruby ones arrived already bloomed and look beautiful. I’m looking forward to planting them in my garden planters.
