Our children gifted us the Golden Beauty shrub rose for our 50th Golden Wedding Anniversary. It is indeed a beautiful rose with lush, healthy foliage and 3 buds ready to open in mid-September.
Contrary to my usual experience, as a gardener and recycler who has decided not to buy plants online as it is pot luck even to receive plants alive, this was refreshingly different. English Roses have achieved perfect packaging. It was 100% recyclable, sturdy, effective in holding the plant secure and protected, clear which way up it should be transported and with appropriate instructions for care.
