We don’t just sell roses here at English Roses, we also sell tools and items you may need to keep your roses in top condition! Browse our range of garden essentials, hand selected by us here at English Rose.
With over 30 years gardening experience we know what you need and what features are best. Thoroughly researched and trialled by us, these are the best of the best.
Garden Equipment
Roses need deadheading to stay in prime condition. Regular deadheading results in more blooms, as instead of expending energy on creating hips or feeding fading flowers, it is encouraged to create new growth. The Rose Pruner Handheld Snippers that we stock have been created by gardening experts Burgon & Ball, and endorsed by the RHS. With its palm-squeeze action of cutting and high carbon steel blades, it seamlessly combines comfort and efficiency.
Burgon & Ball also supply our stunning gardening gloves. Combining fashion and functionality, these will protect your hands from rose thorns and other garden nasties while still looking fabulous! With both mens and women’s gloves available in various colours and sizes, protect your hands in style!
Comprehensive Rose Gifts
Any of our essentials range would make a wonderful addition to your favourite rose to create a comprehensive gift. Perfect for a novice gardener who may not have all the equipment already, this would make a thoughtful starter. For the more experienced gardeners, items such as gloves and pruners may be something they wouldn’t treat themselves to, therefore thoughtfully refreshing their equipment.

Perfect. My friend was delighted. It was in to remember her dog Rosie. It had so many buds and was very healthy. I shall never order roses from anyone else you have always provided beautiful specimens. Thank you.
Great pot , received a rose from yourselves for Mother’s Day and decided to buy the pot to show it off. Really pleased strong basket with handles lovely hessian liner can’t wait for rose to bloom fist class 👍
Being a rose beginner, I wasn't sure whether I had to add the full amount or not, also whether it should be scattered around the root or on top after planting, so did both and also saved a little for another time. Full instructions would have helped a newbie like me!
Our fourth rose from English roses, really lovely quality roses. The one bought in march last year has grown so much. Always over the moon with the quality
I purchased the rose bush called In loving memory of my brother ! His 3 rd anniversary is coming up and two days after would have been his 60th birthday so I sent this bush to his widow to plant in her new garden as she had moved house, very emotive time! She rang to say is was a stunning plant, and was so happy to have something to plant in his memory , now awaiting for the roses to bloom! Worth every penny just to see her smile! And delivered very quickly too!
Received the next day, packaged really well. Baskets are really good quality and larger than expected in real life despite measurements. Planted up today and can't wait for better weather to sit and admire them as look amazing, just hope they last well. Bought to pot up my English roses rose I received as a gift for my birthday.
The rose bush was ordered as a golden wedding gift. It arrived on the date ordered, with good instructions and very well packaged. Would certainly consider ordering from English Roses again.
Great service, arrived quickly, and packaged with care. The planter is perfect for the rose I bought it for, it's currently in my greenhouse waiting until I'm certain we've seen our last frost before I transfer it to somewhere outdoors.
Absolutely delighted with my absolutely fabulous rose.i have had a few roses delivered from top rose nursery’s over the years .but this one has got to be the best top quality rose I have had delivered.A really healthy rose .and really well packaged .I would highly recommend www.englishroses.co.uk for a quality rose many thanks
Again very impressed with the product and the amount given in the sachet. I sprinkled a little once potted and watered it, I gave the sachet to my mother-in-law to use in a month or so time to give the rose a boost. However the Rose arrived in pristine condition, and I wanted a nice pot to put it in so that it can be moved around the garden (front or back) to her hearts content.
On Sunday iordered the Papa Meiiland rose for my Wife as a Anniversary present.
It arrived on Tuesday with express delivery because they can't send goods out for next day delivery at the weekend.
It arrived with all packaging intact with no marks or dents on the cardboard.
The rose itself was packaged really securely so that it wouldn't get squished or smashed
( technical terms).
I would have no hesitation in buying from English Roses as this delivery to me is proof that the customer and the customers purchase come first.
Thank you English Roses.
My first time purchasing from English roses and I can say I'm very impressed. I got given a lovely rose so wanted a special planter rather than a run of the mill one so purchased a xxl wicker planter. It is just perfect. Reasonably priced and arrived the next day. Will definitely recommend to my gardening friends.
We were going to buy the large Eco Garden Planter to use for the Birthday Boy Rose and eventually decided to buy all three planters.
They arrived at the time we were given. Very well packaged, no plastics.
The planters are of a very high quality and will be beautiful to look at once we decide where to position them in the garden. They will be admired by family and friends.
